The College’s student services team provide friendly, helpful advice and support for learning to all students on any kind of course.
Student services work in partnership with tutors and teaching staff, who provide support with course work at school drop-in sessions.

All students are welcome to contact student services to find out about the learning support that can be offered.

Services Include:
  • Initial assessment of your individual learning needs
  • Appropriate support if you have specific learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia
  • Appropriate support if you have a disability, e.g. visual or hearing impairment
  • Assessment arrangements
  • Advice about study skills and planning your work
  • Loan of IT equipment adapted to meet your needs
  • Training in the use of enabling technology
  • Specially adapted course notes
  • Signing, interpreting and note-taking when required
  • Confidential discussions with members of the student services team
  • Help to complete Disabled Student Allowance forms
