The College is committed to providing all learners with a safe, supportive environment within which they can prosper and that protects them from harm, abuse and exploitation.
Protecting young people from abuse is a shared responsibility and the College is committed to having trained staff who work with young people to be able to provide the best support they can. There are two Child Protection Co-ordinators at the College who you can talk to if you feel that you have or are experiencing abuse or exploitation. They will be able to talk you through the things they can do to offer you the right support for you. You can contact them at student services in the hub.
ContactSupporting young people is something the College takes very seriously.
You should look out for the posters with the names and contact details of the Child Protection reps in the areas where you will be studying. If you do not want to go straight to the Child Protection Co-ordinators you can speak to a member of the team or ask your Course Tutor.
